What is a renewal studio?
How should I prepare for my visit to dtXfy?
Do you have showers on site?
dtXfy offers one shower on site, for the purpose of a quick rinse after your sweat session is through. Our restrooms do have a 15-minute time limit in place, to accommodate all of our fellow dtXfy’rs. Don't shower too soon though! Learn more about how to prepare for and recover from your session on our Membership page.
What should I wear to use the saunas, light therapy rooms and massage pods?
All of our spaces are for individual use, unless otherwise requested. This means you can go into the red light and sauna with little to no clothing, comfortably. We like to say, the more you bare, the more you benefit. Clothing during a treatment will impede the light’s ability to penetrate your skin.
After an infrared sauna or red light therapy session, we recommend loose, lightweight clothing. We all know how hard it is to pull on tight jeans when we’re covered in a layer of sweat.
Where massage is concerned, we only recommend that you avoid very bulky clothing so that there’s little friction between you and the rollers. Socks are required.
How old do you have to be to use the sauna and massage pods?
We like to say that wellness is for all, but currently our studio caters to the 18 and older crowd.
Can I bring a friend to join me in the sauna?
How often are your saunas and massage pods cleaned?
dtXfy believes that relaxation comes easier when the space around us is clean and tidy. Our saunas, infrared light therapy room and massage pods are all cleaned after every use. Not to mention, studies have shown that infrared light kills bacteria and viruses, which means our cleaning efforts may quite literally be doubled.
Is it OK to use infrared saunas and red light therapy every day?
That’s a resounding yes! Infrared saunas and red light therapy are both safe to use every day. In fact, you will see wellness improvements sooner if you use either or both on a daily basis.
We recommend sauna sessions of 30-45 minutes each, 3-4 times a week, as well as 3-5, 10 minute red light therapy sessions per week. While the more frequent the sessions the better, increasing the length of individual sessions typically does not increase effectiveness.
How long does it take for red light therapy or infrared sauna use to work?
What if I don't sweat?
It is fairly common not to sweat during an infrared sauna session. Some people do, some don’t, and both are entirely normal. In fact, everyone sweats differently, so the reason you’re not sweating may be entirely unique to you, i.e. how hydrated you are, your age, your body size, etc.
The most common reason for a lack of sweat? The simple difference between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna. Learn more in the FAQ below.
The short answer? You’re still benefiting from an infrared sauna session even if you don’t look like you just ran a 5K. Our advice is to give it time. Your body will likely adjust to the infrared heat over time.

What can I bring with me inside of the sauna?
Each of our saunas is equipped with a heat safe box, perfect in size for storing your cell phone or tablet. Use our bluetooth speakers and enjoy a guided meditation or music while you unwind. Each of our sauna suites is also equipped with a television and streaming services, so you’ll have plenty of options whether you bring a device with you or not.
And while our saunas are amazing for you, your larger electronics like laptops may benefit from a cooler environment. Use of these items within the sauna is strictly at your own risk.
What if I am late for my session or have to cancel?

Can I share monthly membership sessions with a friend or family member?
